"I was in an accident with a State Farm customer that was 100% at fault. She hit my car head on and totaled my car. I am EXTREMELY surprised and disappointed in the way State Farm is handling this claim. My car was drivable until I arrived home that day, the car overheated and was not drivable after. State Farm was informed of this and refused to get a rental car for me, Kathleen Evans (claims specialist) stated a rental car would not be available until the police report was completed which can take 7-10 business days. I had a 52 minute commute to work and do not live near a city bus or metro. I lost my job. I had to pay for a rental car out of my own pocket until a few days ago when I had enough of being disregarded and disrespected. At that time I called and complained and refused to take no for an answer. Only then, I was FINALLY given a rental car that I only had to pay a small deposit for. That date was April 24, 10 days after my accident. Absolutely ridiculous. That day, I was also informed that my car needed to be towed to a shop to be fixed and State Farm was accepting liability. I knew that was ridiculous to even think they would pay for the damages. And I was correct it was $9500 so again State Farm was wrong. The car is a total loss. I noticed that I got an email saying I had been unenrolled from digital payments. I never enrolled in digital payments. These people are trying to get away with mailing me a paper check, making me wait even longer. As far as I’m concerned, they owe me money for lost wages, for my job loss and for pain and suffering from all of this. I am the victim here. I did not cause this accident, and it should not be costing me any money! Additionally, this accident cost me my job. It should not have inconvenienced me at all, and the inconveniences that were incurred should be fixed by State Farm. I am very disappointed in State Farm. I expected so much more from a company that is so reputable and has so many years experience. That is the main reason for this review. People should know that they’re not dependable and they do not deserve the wonderful reputation that they have."

I’m sorry that you are having difficulties with your claim but in the future, please recognize that we take our customer satisfaction very seriously and to arbitrarily go on some agent’s account and post this when your concerns are with your claim and not anything having to do with our office is absolutely ridiculous! If you would like your concerns to be addressed, I would reach out to claims directly and not try to take out your frustrations on a local business that has nothing to do with you!"
